Tim, Jayme, David and I went on a 2 day mountaineering trip to the 8th highest peak in the Alps, Hoher Dachstein. We started at the Vorderer Gosausee and ascended 2 km to the Adamekhütte where we ate some great food and spent the night. At 6:30 the next morning we walked up the snowfield and Gossau glacier, tackled the east ridge via ferrata and summited at 10:30. By 1:30pm we were drinking beer and listening to an Austrian mountain band at another hut on the west side of the peak and by 7:30 pm we were back in Linz.
